A rollup fly screen keeps the mesh rolled away inside a slim aluminium cassette above your window. Pull it down when the mosquitoes are out, let it spring back up when they are not. We make every rollup screen to measure in our own Dubai workshop and install it across Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah.
How a Rollup Screen Works
A rollup screen works like a roller blind built for insects. The whole unit has three parts, and each one has a job to do.
The cassette. A slim aluminium housing fixed across the top of the frame. The mesh stays rolled inside it, protected from dust and sun while you are not using it.
The mesh. A fine insect mesh that runs in slim side guides, so there are no gaps at the edges for mosquitoes to slip through.
The bottom bar. Pull it down to close the screen, until it catches. Release it and the spring rolls the mesh back up into the cassette, out of sight.
Choose a rollup when you do not want a screen on show all day. The mesh is there when you need it and gone when you do not.

An honest note: for wide sliding, French or bi-fold doors a pleated screen is usually the better answer, and for windows that stay screened all year round a fixed screen costs less. On the free measurement visit we look at each opening and advise which system suits it best.
Rollup vs Pleated vs Fixed
Rollup is the neatest choice for standard windows and small doors: it hides away when open and it is economical. Pleated handles large openings that a roller cannot span. Fixed is the simplest and cheapest answer for windows that stay screened all the time.

It depends on the size and the number of screens. The free measurement visit ends with a fixed written quote, so you know the exact price before we make anything.
We fit rollup screens to sliding, casement, fixed-pane and top-hung windows. On the visit we check the frame depth so the cassette and guides sit properly.
No. The mesh lets the air through, and when it is rolled away only the slim cassette shows at the top of the frame, so your view stays clear.
It does the same job, but as a framed, made-to-measure screen: it seals at the edges, holds its shape and retracts when you do not need it.
Springs and rollers are serviceable and the mesh can be renewed, so most faults are fixed with a service visit rather than a replacement.
