The right mesh for Abu Dhabi homes.
Abu Dhabi's coastal humidity and landscaped communities mean mosquitoes and sandflies are a year-round fact, not a season. The mesh grade decides how much you stop:
Standard insect mesh
Stops mosquitoes and flies. The default for most windows and doors.
Fine mesh
A tighter weave for sandflies and midges — worth it near water, golf-course lakes and dense landscaping.
Door nets
Doors are the main entry point in villas and apartments alike. A fitted sliding screen panel or screen door does more than any number of window nets. See also mosquito nets .
Matched per opening
On the measurement visit we match the grade to each opening rather than selling one mesh for the whole home.

Fixed windows — a framed fixed screen, powder-coated to match your window colour.
Sliding windows — a screen panel that runs with the window, so either side can open.
Hinged (casement) windows — a hinged or removable screen that opens with the window or lifts out for cleaning.
Before we visit — a 2-minute self-check: note which windows slide, which hinge, and any window where the handle sits proud of the frame. That one detail changes the screen type, and knowing it in advance makes the measurement visit faster.

Screens fitted inside the balcony door or window line change nothing on the façade — in most buildings that's the difference between "allowed" and "needs approval".

Renting?
Ask your landlord before the measurement visit. Most approve screens that protect the property and can be removed at move-out — and we'll confirm the fitting type in writing for them.

Usually yes when screens sit inside the door/window line and don't alter the façade. If your building needs paperwork, we supply the fitting details in writing.
We recommend asking — most landlords say yes to removable, property-protecting fittings. We can confirm the exact fitting method in writing for your landlord.
